Impressive two-part Chinese rosewood display unit: a mirrored pair of open curio étagères joined by a carved bridge section that spans the top, forming a room-height archway. Each tower has an asymmetric arrangement of open display cubes, small drawers and carved cabinet doors with shou (longevity) medallions and bat scrollwork, plus a pierced-carved frieze on the bridge. Solid, finely finished hardwood in excellent condition; a slight frame tilt noted when assembled. A dramatic mid-20th-century Hong Kong/Canton workshop piece for displaying a collection.
