A blue and white vessel in the shape of a duck, an arched loop handle over its back and the feathers drawn in scrolling cobalt, with a four-character mark beneath. Part water dropper, part teapot, wholly ornamental: a cheerful thing to find on a desk or a shelf. There is some kiln grit and brown staining on the base and a few small glaze flaws on the body, all in the photos, but no chips or cracks. Carefully packed and posted from Portugal.
