Expressive Shiwan (Guangdong) glazed stoneware figure of a bearded official in a flowing olive-green robe with a sword tucked at his back - the demon queller Zhong Kui. Finely modelled unglazed face and hands, impressed maker's seal and a '34' stamp inside the base. Good visible condition with no chips or restoration seen. Approx. 30 cm high.
