Pair Chinese Green Glazed Ceramic Foo Dogs Guardian Lions on Plinths

A pair of guardian lions under a rich apple-green glaze, jaws open and each with a paw on a brocade ball, raised on pierced rectangular plinths. The green is mottled and deep and in really good order; the unglazed patches underneath are original to the making, not damage. They have the slightly comic ferocity the best foo dogs carry, and a strong feng-shui pull if that matters to you. Around 30 cm. Handsome at a doorway or bookending a shelf.
