A low round bowl of the sort used to burn incense or simply for show, painted inside and out in underglaze blue with two five-clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl through clouds, the old imperial subject. A further dragon fills a roundel in the well, there is a seal mark beneath, and it comes with its own carved openwork hardwood stand. Around 22 cm across, so it holds a table on its own. I would call it decorative rather than perfect: there is a faint brown hairline and a little staining near the foot, both shown in the photos.
