A small rectangular cloisonne enamel trinket box, of matchbox-holder form, decorated with red chrysanthemums and a butterfly in a shaped white-bordered panel on a cobalt-blue ground with green scrollwork, gilt-metal mounts. Comes in its fitted silk-covered presentation case. Good condition with bright enamels; photos are dim but no damage is apparent. Early-to-mid 20th-century Chinese work.
